Why I Made My Own Search Engine, You’re Invited Too

I decided that I wanted a search engine that I knew was not spying on me, so I made my own. I’m using an API that pulls datasets from a major corporate database, but the search requests go from the server, not my browser, in effect acting as a proxy and providing some degree of anonymity.

SkepSearch was originally conceived as something that would appeal to skeptics, but why would that mean it did not appeal to everyone? ┬áIf you are a someone you’re invited too http://skepsearch.com/

You might like it better than the major search engines.
